Bucks County Builder To Be Featured On HGTV's 'Tiny House, Big Living'

Less is more, or so they say.

And for Build Tiny House, a Bucks County-based builder, that goes for living arrangements, too.

The company, founded by Yardley resident Walt Varhley, creates custom tiny timber frame homes. When we say tiny, we mean tiny: 320-square-feet to be exact.

You can get an inside look at how Varhley creates his custom tiny homes by tuning into HGTV later this month. A project by his company will be featured in an episode of "Tiny House, Big Living" on Jan. 26. The episode airs at 9 p.m.

During the show, you'll be able to see the creation of the company's tiny timber frame house on a farm in Hopewell Township, N.J.

Tiny houses are becoming more popular due to their affordability and mobility. For example, Build Tiny House homes start at $79,000.

HGTV has capitalized on the trend's popularity, and Varhley says he expects four million viewers to tune in to the 30-minute episode.
