Bucks County Children's Museum Unveils New Exhibit
A new exhibit opened Sunday at the Bucks County Children's Museum.
The Bucks County Children’s Museum this weekend introduced a major expansion which doubled the size of its current interactive educational facility. The expanded space will house a new exhibit area, “Airways to Waterways”, as well as a multipurpose and programming room.
The new exhibit will invite young learners to investigate the power of air as they experiment with objects being propelled through a 20 foot pneumatic (compressed air) tube system, according to information from the museum.
"Developed by the College of New Jersey, Waterways will offer visitors the opportunity to navigate boats through a lock system on the Delaware Canal. An interactive jumbo video projection combined with state of the art robotics will allow guests to turn gears and operate the watertight gates on the canal, helping boats to reach their destination," the museum announced.
