Bucks County Community College Renames Penn Hall

Penn Hall is now Jean H. Grupp Hall in honor of longtime BCCC trustee Otto Grupp III's late wife.

Bucks County Community College renamed one of its Newtown campus academic buildings after the late wife of a longtime college trustee.

Penn Hall has been renamed Jean H. Grupp Hall to honor the late wife of longtime college trustee Otto Grupp III.

Penn Hall was chosen to become Jean H. Grupp Hall becasue it houses the college's nursing program and Grupp was a nurse.

"There’s nothing more rewarding than being able to name this building in Jean’s memory, and as a result to provide more scholarships for deserving students here," Otto Grupp said in a statement. "Hopefully this will encourage others to give back as well."
