Bucks County Judge Attacked At Wrightstown Home: Report
Bucks County Judge Clyde W. Waite was reportedly assaulted at his Wrightstown home on Monday. County detectives are investigating.

A Bucks County judge says he was assaulted at his Wrightstown home on Monday, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Authorities with the District Attorney's office confirmed the report and said county detectives are investigating.
The Philadelphia Inquirer said Judge Clyde W. Waite was injured in the attack and he could not fully remember what happened. Waite told that publication it happened around 9 p.m. Monday night while he was on the phone.

"In the middle of the conversation, there was an exclamation from me and the phone went dead...the next thing I remember I was running across a field to my next-door neighbor’s home," the county's first only African American judge told the publication.
The incident is being investigated by the Bucks County District Attorney's office. "County detectives are investigating and working very hard to gather all relevant evidence," said DA spokesman Larry King.

He was reportedly released from St. Mary Medical Center on Tuesday.
