Bucks County Poet Laureate Ceremony Sunday Afternoon At BCCC

Bucks County Community College is holding a poetry reading and reception Sunday, Nov. 13 in honor of the 40th annual Bucks County Poet Laureate contest.

The 2016 Bucks County Poet Laureate, Laren McClung of Bensalem, will read some of her work at the event, which is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. in the college's Orange building on the Newtown campus, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown.

The event will also feature readings from runners up Jenny Isaacs of Doylestown, Steve Nolan of Newtown, Kyra Juliet Spence of Newtown. 2015 Bucks County Poet Laureate Tyler Kline of Chalfont will also be at the ceremony.

Over 100 people expected to attend the ceremony, which will be followed by a reception.
