MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Indivisible Bucks County is organizing an outdoor rally for Friday, June 28 beginning at5 p.m. in front of the offices of U.S. Congessman Brian Fitzpatrick in support of abortion, fertility and contraceptive rights.

The gathering will commemorate the 2nd anniversary of the release of the official Supreme
Court Dobbs ruling to overturn its previous Roe v. Wade decision guaranteeing abortion access and placed the decision-making in the hands of the states.

“Brian Fitzpatrick is the most anti-choice lawmaker in Bucks County, so it is only fitting that we bring this issue to his doorstep,” said Laura Rose of Indivisible Bucks County, the hosting organization for this event. “The rights of American women are under assault, and we grieve the
stories of women in red states dying to get necessary miscarriage care or losing their fertility to fulfill the inhumane legislative goals of a far-right extremist minority. The rollback of women’s rights is appalling, disgusting, and dangerous. That’s why we’re here today.”

"This week marks the two year anniversary of the Dobbs decision,” said Ashley Ehasz, combat veteran and Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania's 1st Congressional District. “And I want to make sure the voters of PA-01 remember that Brian Fitzpatrick has been a willing participant in overturning Roe, chipping away at reproductive rights and voting for a national abortion ban. I’m
fired up to work with Indivisible Bucks County to flip this seat and protect abortion rights at the federal level."
