Bucks County's Grange Fair 2017: What You Need To Know
It's summer in Bucks County, and that can only mean one thing: the Grange Fair. Here's what you need to know about this year's event.

WRIGHTSTOWN, PA — It's summer in Bucks County, and that can only mean one thing: the Grange Fair. The 69th Annual Middletown Grange Fair kicks off next month in Wrightstown Township. The classic Bucks County fair will be held from Wednesday, Aug. 16 to Sunday, Aug. 20.
If you've never been here's what you can expect: a carnival-like amusement area, animal demonstrations, 4-H projects on display, tons of food, live music and lots of other entertainment. It's a must-go if you have young children.
The amusement park area will be open from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, the rides will be open from noon to 11 p.m. On Sunday, the rides will be open from noon to 5 p.m.

On Wednesday from 6 to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m., an unlimited ride pass is $20. A mega pass, good for rides all five days, is $45.
But be sure to save some time while you're there to see the rows and rows of farm animals on display. Kids can look at and even touch a slew of fun critters, including sheep, bunnies, pigs, goats and much more.

The popular chicken dinner is offered Thursday through Saturday. Tickets go on sale at 3:30 each day until they are sold out. The cost for the dinner is $15; $10 for children. If you don't like chicken, fear not. There are plenty of other options, including burgers, hot dogs, pizza, ice cream and much more.
Live entertainment includes everything from pig racing to a talent show, a tractor parade (kids love it), live music, magicians and more. Click here to see the full entertainment schedule.
Admittance to the fair is free but parking is $10 per car from Wednesday to Saturday. On Sunday it’s $5 per vehicle and free admission for veterans. A five-day pass is $30 and is good for unlimited entry during the five-day event.
Fair hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
No dogs are allowed at the fair.
