Bucks Human Relations Commissions Gather At BCCC For Unity Meeting
Nearly two dozen officials from across Bucks County prepared for potential discrimination complaints in the upcoming school year.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bucks County Community College hosted a Unity Meeting of Human Relations Commissions from across Bucks County on July 26 ahead of the upcoming school year.
The goal was to unify and coordinate HRC officials’ responses to potential discrimination cases against K-12 students.
Kevin Antoine, the college’s associate vice president of community and government relations and chief DEI officer, called the meeting along with Bernie Hoffman, chair of the Bucks County Human Relations Council. Antoine also chairs the Newtown Township HRC.

It was the first such gathering of HRCs county-wide, representing Bucks County, Doylestown Borough, Newtown Borough, Newtown Township, New Hope Borough, Solebury Township, and Yardley Borough.
