'Burn Him Alive': Pa. Woman Admits To Murder-For-Hire Plot
Denise Marie Nagrodski, 52, allegedly attempted to hire a hit man to kill her daughter's ex-boyfriend and two others last year.

A Pennsylvania woman who attempted to pay a hit man $1,000 to burn her daughter’s ex-boyfriend alive and kill two others pleaded guilty Thursday in New Jersey Superior Court.
Denise Marie Nagrodski, 52, of Forks Township attempted to arrange the murder for hire plot with an undercover New Jersey State Police detective last fall, according to the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General.
Nagrodski allegedly hatched the plot in revenge after claiming the boyfriend was abusive and caused her daughter to have a miscarriage while pregnant with twins two years ago, authorities said. She also wanted two others who were close to the ex-boyfriend killed, authorities allege.

According to authorities, leading up to her arrest, Nagrodski met an undercover New Jersey State Police detective at the Phillipsburg Mall. Nagrodski, thinking he was a hit man, told the undercover detective to “burn him alive,” referring to the ex-boyfriend, NJ.com reported.
She allegedly provided the undercover detective with photos of the intended victims and a map to the Bound Brook, N.J. house where they lived. She gave him $500, which was the balance of the $1,000 she agreed to pay for the murders, authorities said.
