ArtWRKD is dedicated to hosting regular events, curator groups, workshops and lectures, actively promoting artists.
“I believe strongly in the power of art, both in the artistic process and its emotive quality to those who see it. Art speaks to all of us and has throughout history. Art in its many forms has given us a scope into the human condition. My intention is that this space, ArtWRKD becomes a place where the community can experience, be immersed in and connect to artists and each other in a meaningful way,” said Ashara Shapiro, owner and resident artist.

The artist gallery has been curated by Ashara herself, connecting with artists she feels are doing impeccable work in their medium, and hopes to surprise ArtWRKD patrons with work that is fresh, outside the box and timeless.
“All this work is collectable, meaning it will not lose its intrinsic value. The artists showing here are not only incredible, but they are also doing work that has purpose. These artists have a story to tell,” Ashara said.
ArtWRKD plans on developing workshops and programming to foster creative talent not only within the adult community but in the youth of Bucks County.
ArtWRKD offers several memberships from Founding Corporate Memberships to the Alchemy Membership which is open to a limited number of creatives 14 years and older. There are also events happening throughout the year from a Wearable Art Show at the Newtown Historic Theater on April 7, 2023 to the Masters Show.
