Get ready to unwrap some holiday magic! The Newtown Business Association is delighted to present the annual Newtown Holiday Parade, sponsored by the Newtown Athletic Club (NAC). Join us on Sunday, December 7, 2025 in downtown Newtown, PA, for an afternoon of joy, community and classic-holiday fun.
Event Details
- Date & Time: Sunday, December 7, 2025. Parade begins at 12:00 PM Please see the website for specific location details. www.newtownba.org/Holiday-Parade
- Theme: Classic Holiday Movies! Dress up as your favorite character from a beloved holiday film — think Buddy the Elf, Kevin McCallister, the Grinch, Ralphie, Frosty, or Cindy Lou. (Please note: Santa appears at the parade’s end, so participants should not dress as Santa.)
- Location: Downtown Newtown, PA — the heart of our community, transforming into a seasonal celebration.
What to Expect
- Santa’s Village (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, corner of Silo & Sycamore Streets): Kids and families can enjoy a petting zoo, face painting & hair-braiding, letters to Santa, hot chocolate & treats, and more holiday surprises.
- Parade Performances: National Anthem by Justin Guarini. Also featured: majestic Belgian Horses, carolers, a color guard, community performers, marching bands, dance troupes, holiday characters, local heroes & first responders — and of course, the grand arrival of Santa.
- Road Closures & Parking: State Street will be closed through Washington Avenue; Sycamore Street closed from Washington down to the Green Parrot. First-come, first-serve parking; additional parking available at Council Rock North High School.

How to Participate
Parade registration is now closed, but volunteer opportunities are still open. Visit the parade page and click “Volunteer Signup” if you’d like to help on event day.
Everyone is encouraged to dress for the theme, bring their holiday spirit, and invite friends and neighbors.
Spectators should plan to arrive early to grab the best viewing spots.
