MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Styer Orchard on Woodbourne Road will celebrate the nation's 250th birthday with an old-fashioned ,Independence Day celebration and fireworks display. Beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 3, the celebration will include food, beer, DJ, live music, hayrides, games and prizes for the kids, all capped off with a fireworks display. The rain date is July 4th. A limited number of tickets will be sold for the event to ensure it's not overly crowded. The Men of Harmony will be back this year to perform. Aristaeus will also be back, selling their beer. Parking will not be allowed this year in the store lot due to the traffic jam it caused last year for those who paid and parked at the farm.
