Celebrate Independence Day by bringing the whole family back in time — to July 4, 1776! At Washington Crossing Historic Park, the public can watch living historians demonstrate their crafts and see a military encampment from 4 to 8 p.m. on July 4. A highlight of the day will be readings of the Declaration of Independence at 4:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 7:45 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults age 12 and over; $6 for children ages 5-11; and free for those under 5, active duty military, and members of the Friends of Washington Crossing Park. Families with up to two adults and two children living in the same household can purchase a single Family ticket for $30. Pre-registration is recommended. Visit the park's website to register.
Admission to Bowman’s Hill Tower, open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., is included in your ticket to Living History Day.
