Candidates Forum To Be Held For State Rep. Special Election
The special election to replace the seat vacated by Scott Petri will be held May 15, the same day as the primary election.

The League of Women Voters will host a candidates forum for those running in a special election for state representative in Bucks County’s 178th Legislative District. The forum will be held May 2 at Anchor Presbyterian Church in Wrightstown.
Republican Wendi Thomas, a Northampton Township resident who served on the Council Rock School Board, is facing Democratic candidate Helen Tai, a Solebury Township supervisor.

The 178th district includes Wrightstown, Solebury, New Hope, Upper Makefield, and Northampton.
The forum will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Anchor Presbyterian Church, 980 Durham Road.

The audience will have an opportunity to submit questions for the candidates.
