Crash Sends Car Into Newtown 7-Eleven

A car crashed into the 7-Eleven in Newtown on Tuesday. Two people were transported from the scene, authorities say.

NEWTOWN, PA — A car crashed into the 7-Eleven in Newtown on Tuesday following a two-car crash in the parking lot, according to police. The crash happened around 11:20 a.m.

The Sycamore Street business will be closed temporarily so authorities can determine if there was structural damage, police said.

Two people were transported from the scene, authorities with the Newtown Fire Association said. Police later reported the injuries were not serious.

Police, fire and ambulances responded to the scene, according to information from the fire association.
