Jim Houghton Enterprises is back with plenty of rides for kids, families and thrill seekers; lots of fun and games; and tons of carnival food including hamburgers, chicken fingers, hot dogs, corn dogs, fries, cotton candy, candy apples, caramel apples, pop corn, ice cream cones, ice cream sundaes, and more

The carnival is a springtime tradition in the township. The fire company held its first back in 1979 at the Taylorsville Road fire station and in an open field across the street in what is now the River Knolls development. The carnival was later relocated to Washington Crossing Park.
