Celebrate the New Year at First Night Newtown

Organizers of First Night Newtown, the annual New Year’s Eve celebration at Council Rock North, have released a schedule of events.

The night will feature live music, kids activities, inflatables, food, fireworks and more. Plus, there will be a raffle for an iPad mini. Click here to view the schedule of events.

Doors open at 5 p.m. The fireworks show, sponsored by First Federal of Bucks County, will be held at nearby Newtown Middle School at 10 p.m.

Proceeds from First Night benefit D.A.R.E. and other community programs.

The cost to attend is $10.

Admission and raffle tickets can be purchased in advance at First Federal of Bucks County, First National Bank of Newtown, Newtown Book and Record Exchange, Provident Bank, The Newtown Athletic Club, Action Karate, Shady Brook Farm, Univest Bank, Monument Bank and Beneficial Bank.
