'Chinatown' Thursday At Newtown Theatre For Classic Film Series
If you can't make it this week, be sure not to miss Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" on the big screen later in the series.

Do you enjoy classic films? "Chinatown" will be screened Thursday as part of the the Newtown Theatre's classic film nights series.
The film, directed by Roman Polanski and starring Faye Dunaway and Jack Nicholson, will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The story follows a private detective who has been hired to expose an adulterer. He soon finds himself caught up in a web of deceit, corruption and murder. (See trailer below)

Tickets will be sold at the box office 30 minutes prior to screening. The cost for tickets is $10 for adults; $8 for seniors and students; $7 for children 12 and younger; and $5 for theatre members.
Some other classics that will be screened as part of the series include Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining," on Oct. 25 as well as "Harvey" starring Jimmy Stewart.
