Clear Skies In Forecast For Friday's Star Watch In Newtown

The skies will be clear but don't forget a jacket, as temperatures will be in the low 40s, the Weather Channel predicts.

Planning to check out the skies with your neighbors in Newtown on Friday night during the Star Watch event?

Looks like you’ll have clear skies — but you’ll need to bring a jacket. According to the Weather Channel, Friday evening’s forecast will be clear with temperatures in the low 40s.

The Star Watch event is organized by the Newtown Borough Recreation Board. It will be held at Pickering Field beginning at 6 p.m. Pickering Field is located at the corner of Jefferson and Lincoln ave.

The evening will include a presentation by the Bux-Mont Astronomical Association, plus an opportunity to enjoy the night sky with your neighbors
