Council Rock Again Named Best Community For Music Education

Districts recognized with the award are often held up as models for other educators to follow in the development of their programs.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock School District has been recognized with the 2023 Best Communities for Music Education Award presented by The NAMM Foundation.

The district is one of 830 school districts nationwide to receive the award. Council Rock has earned the award for the past 12 years.

The award recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools demonstrating an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
