Council Rock To Brief Public On New Property Tax Rebate Program

School district schedules two public forums to share the eligibility requirements of the new program.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock School District will hold two public forums in August to explain its newly-created property tax and rental rebate program.

At its June 22 board meeting, the school board approved the rebate program, which is available to taxpayers who meet specific criteria and is based on the Pennsylvania Property Tax rebate program.

Representatives from the Council Rock Business Offices will be on hand at the following community information sessions to brief the public about the rebate program and to answer questions:

  • Wednesday, August 9 at 7 p.m. at the Village Library of Wrightstown, 727 Penns Park Road, Newtown 18940.
  • Tuesday, August 22 at 3 p.m. at the Northampton Township Senior Center, 165 Township Road, Richboro, PA 18954
