Council Rock Dismissal Delayed By 30 Minutes Wednesday
A new version of the PSAT, which students are taking today, is behind the delay.

Dismissal at Council Rock has been delayed by 30 minutes Wednesday, officials announced.
The day, already a half day for students, will now end at 11:15 a.m. for high school students, 12 p.m. for middle schools and 12:45 p.m. for elementary schools.
“The reason for this delay is that many of our high school students are taking the PSAT this morning. It is a new version of the PSAT, and it is taking students longer than anticipated. By delaying today’s dismissal by 30 minutes, we will afford our students taking the PSAT every opportunity to perform their absolute best,” Superintendent Robert Fraser said in an email to parents.

“We will be as efficient as we possibly can with our dismissal processes, and thus minimize this delay as much as possible,” he said.
