Council Rock Gives Photo Update On Middle School Construction Projects
Wondering how construction is going for the new Newtown Middle School and Holland Middle School? Council Rock has shared some photos.

You've probably seen the trucks while driving by but if you're wondering how construction is going on the new Council Rock middle school projects, the district has provided a photo update on its website.
Crews are currently working to construct a new middle school to replace the current Newtown Middle School, and an expansion and renovation of the current Holland Middle School is underway.
Both projects are scheduled to be finished by the start of the 2018-19 school year, according to information from the district. When the projects are complete, Richboro Middle School will close as a middle school and "an entire K-12 student redistricting is scheduled to occur," the district said.

The total budgeted cost of the combined projects is $100,818,060, which includes $4,674,205 as contingency funds for unexpected expenses, which could ultimately further reduce the overall cost of the projects, the district has said.
