Council Rock Graduates Awarded Partnership In Education Scholarships

The scholarships recognize students who best demonstrated a commitment to community service.

DOYLESTOWN, PA – Two Council Rock graduates have been named Partnership in Education Scholarship recipients by Foundations Community Partnership (FCP).

FCP has awarded $1,000 each to Newtown resident Sophie Lentz, a 2023 graduate of Council Rock High School North who will be attending Elon University, and Holland resident Ryan Kraychik, a 2023 graduate of Council Rock High School South who will be attending Elizabethtown College.

School administrators and guidance counselors were asked to nominate students who best demonstrated a commitment to community service, academic performance, and quality of character.

“The commitment to community service and academic excellence of our local high school
students is evident within our scholarship program,” said FCP’s Board Chair Abigail Halloran. “Recognizing these outstanding student leaders serves as encouragement to all to work toward positive change in our communities.”

The following organizations and individuals co-sponsored select scholarships demonstrating their commitment to the community and FCP’s mission: Doylestown Health, First Bank, Connie Furman, Grand View Health, Penn Community Bank, and Traffic Planning and Design, Inc.
