Council Rock Hires New Director Of Business Administration

NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock School District has hired a new director of business administration. Robert Reinhart, the current director of business administration, is retiring in early 2019.

During a meeting Thursday, the school board approved the appointment of Bill Stone to the position effective Jan. 28, 2019.

Stone comes to Council Rock from the Souderton Area School District, where he has held the position of director of business affairs since 2012. Prior to his time at Souderton, he served as assistant business manager for both Upper Dublin School District and Upper Darby School District.

Stone is a Doylestown native, and graduated from Central Bucks West High School. He studied at Franklin & Marshall College. In addition to his undergraduate degree, Stone also holds an M.S. in Educational Leadership with a Concentration in School Business Leadership from Wilkes University.

Stone is currently a member of both the PA Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) Accounting Committee and the PA Institute of CPAs (PICPA) Local Government Accounting & Auditing Committee.

According to the district, his career experience also includes volunteer and leadership positions as Treasurer of the Indian Valley Education Foundation, Board Officer of the School Districts Insurance Consortium, and Delegate/Officer for the Montgomery County Tax Collection Committee.
