Council Rock Home Access Center Opens Aug. 20

The countdown to the first day of school in Council Rock is on. Students in grades K-6 and 7 and 9 start on Tuesday, Sept. 4. All students report Wednesday, Sept. 5.

A few important things to know before the start of school:

• The Home Access Center will be available on August 20. You can log on at that time to see your child's teacher, bus schedule and more.
• Grade level school supply lists have been posted, and can be found on the individual school websites.
• The district is transitioning to a new mass communication platform, Blackboard Communications. The platform will be used for district level and school-based parent robocalls and emails. Click here for more information.
• The Pennsylvania Department of Health had revised the immunization requirements for students effective during the 2017-2018 school-year. Those remain in place for the upcoming 2018-2019 school-year. This revision replaced the eight-month provisional period for immunizations with a new requirement of a five-day provisional period for students who do not have records of immunizations at the start of the required school-year.
