Council Rock Kindergarten Registration Coming Up

Registration is coming up for kindergarten and new first grade students entering Council Rock in 2016-2017.

Parents can register their children online or in person. If you choose to register online, click here. You’ll be notified next steps after your online registration has been submitted.

You can also register your student in person by filling out a form and bringing it to your elementary building on one of the following dates: Tuesday, March 8 from 6-7:30 p.m.; Thursday, March 10 from 6-7:30 p.m.; or Friday, March 11 from 1:30 -3:30 p.m.

Here are the eligibility rules:

Eligibility: To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1, 2016. To be eligible for first grade, children should be six (6) years of age on or before September 1, 2016. A child may be admitted early to first grade if he/she will be six (6) years of age on or before February 1, 2017 and the child meets the readiness criteria for first grade entrance as determined by a Certified School Psychologist and the school’s Instructional Support Team. Children who are not presently enrolled in the district kindergarten program, but will attend first grade next school year, should also be registered at this time.
