Council Rock North Graduation Moved Indoors Due To Forecast

Council Rock North's graduation will be held indoors due to anticipated stormy weather on Monday.

NEWTOWN, PA — Council Rock High School North's graduation will be held indoors due to anticipated stormy weather on Monday.

The ceremony is set to begin at 4 p.m.

Tickets will be limited. According to information from the district, each graduating student received three tickets that say "Gymnasium and Home/Visitor."

"These are the only tickets that will grant admission into the gymnasium. We are sorry for the inconvenience; however, we will not be able to honor any requests for additional tickets under any circumstances. If you received any additional tickets, they were for an outdoor graduation only. They cannot be used to enter the building for the indoor ceremony," the school said on its website.

The entire community can view the commencement ceremony on the district's YouTube channel or on the Council Rock cable station (Verizon Ch. 44/Comcast Ch. 28).

Monday evening's forecast calls for showers and thunderstorms. "Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain," the National Weather Service said.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue overnight and into Tuesday.
