Council Rock North Marching Band Takes Second Place

WARMINSTER, PA — The Council Rock High School North Marching Band took second place at the Cavalcade of Bands at William Tennent High School in Warminster on Saturday, Oct. 23. This comes after two consecutive first-place victories for the marching band.

The 59-piece ensemble performed their 2021 show, 'Shattered', during the Liberty-A division competition under the leadership of band director Wayne Bishop.

Their second-place position comes after a first-place victory at the Spectrum of Sound Marching Band Show on Saturday, Oct. 9, and another one at the 53rd Annual Music in Motion Competition on Saturday, Oct. 16.

The marching band will continue to compete in the Cavalcade of Bands circuit throughout October and into November, culminating in the championship contest in Hershey on Nov. 13-14. The band will perform at two more shows before the Hershey show, one at Abington High School on Friday, Oct. 29, and another at Hatboro Horsham High School on Saturday, Nov. 6.
