Council Rock North Student Receives Exchange Club Award

Council Rock North student Kassidy McCullough is the GNEC's Student of the Month for February.

Council Rock North High School student Kassidy McCullough has been named the Greater Newtown Exchange Club’s Student of the Month for February.

The awared is presented monthly to qualifying Newtown area students who exemplify the best in academic achievement, social outreach and service to others. Award candidates are nominated with the help of their school advisers.

McCullough is a member of Council Rock North’s Women’s Swim Team STAR, SHARE, the Gift of Life Club and Athletes Helping Athletes and she was participated in Student Government. She’s also a Distinguished Honor Roll Student and received Council Rock North’s Student of the Month award as well as GNEC’s.

Her community service efforts included tutoring at Richboro Elementary and mentoring an after-school program at Bucks County Housing Group in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.

McCullough enjoys academics, athletes, family and friends. She’s planning on continuing on to college where she’ll enroll in an Occupational Therapy program. She has already been accepted in Duquesne’s BS/MS Occupational Therapy program and West Chester University’s Pre-Occupational Therapy program.
