Council Rock North Students To Host ‘Outrace Hunger’ Virtual 5K

A student organization at Council Rock North is raising money to support the Wrightstown Food Cupboard.

NEWTOWN, PA — A group of students at Council Rock North are holding a weeklong virtual 5K race to raise money for the Wrightstown Food Cupboard.

The Outrace Hunger Virtual 5K 2021 will run from Sept. 19-25. The virtual event is free, but Council Rock North’s SHARE organization — Students Helping Area Residents Effectively — is collecting donations on GoFundMe to support the food pantry.

The student organization raised more than $1,500 last year during the first Outrace Hunger Virtual 5K and is aiming “for even greater success this year,” senior Katie Daniels said.
