Council Rock Reaches Contract Agreement With Administrators
Council Rock School Board President Andy Block said the agreement is fair for both the district and its administrators.

The Council Rock School District announced this week it has reached a contract agreement with the union representing its administrators.
According to information from Superintendent Robert Fraser, contract discussions began in November 2015 and the Board of School Directors approved the final contact on Thursday.
The three-year agreement is retroactive to July 1 of this year and is effective through June 30, 2019.

The contract provides average annual salary increases of 2.39 percent, 2.42 percent, and 2.17 percent
over the contract’s three years. The increase in each year of the contract is less than the Bucks County average increase of 2.91 percent, according to information from the district.
Members of CRAA agreed to pay the same premium shares for their health insurance as the district’s professional staff. The administrators will contribute 17 percent of health care premiums to maintain their current plans, the district announced.

A lower cost health care plan will be available with a 12 percent contribution rate, the district said.
Additionally, CRAA members will gain an another personal day under the new contract.
Council Rock School Board President Andy Block said the agreement is fair for both the district and its administrators.
“Increasing demands on everyone across the educational system are intensified as districts face more and more unfunded mandates and reporting requirements. The workloads of our administrators continue to escalate, especially as we have reduced administrative headcount," Block said in a statement.
The Council Rock Administrators Association represents 40 school administrators in Council Rock including directors, principals, special education supervisors, assistant principals and managers.
