Council Rock Redistricting Meeting Is Thursday
A meeting will be held this Thursday to discuss redistricting in the Council Rock School District.

NEWTOWN, PA — A meeting will be held this Thursday to discuss redistricting in the Council Rock School District. The board meeting, which was rescheduled from Nov. 15, will be held Thursday, Nov. 29.
The originally scheduled meeting was canceled due to snow. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Newtown Middle School.
In advance of the meting, school administrators have prepared a slideshow with voice-over.

"All information included reflects exact content that would have been delivered publicly on November 15th. The presentation has been added to the REDISTRICTING HUB and can be also be found in the CR YouTube video library," the district said in an email.
During the meeting, the board will review the latest proposal, which was released in late October. The proposal includes several changes from redistricting maps previously circulated. Those changes include revised sending areas for Holland Elementary and Hillcrest Elementary schools, as well as shifting more students from Wrightstown Elementary to Sol Feinstone.
