The Council Rock School Board will consider bids for the new Newtown Middle School and renovations to Holland Middle School during a meeting Thursday.
The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Chancellor Center.
According to the agenda, several bids will be considered, including ones for general construction, plumbing, electrical and environmental abatement.

The district has plans to construct a new 185,400 square-foot Newtown Middle School next to the existing middle school on Newtown Richboro Road. A 74,000-square-foot addition and renovation is planned at Holland Middle School.
During a facilities committee meeting Wednesday, district officials said the total project bids came in about $5 million less than expected, the Courier Times reported.

The total expected cost for both projects is now at $105 million.
