Council Rock School Board Looks To Fill Upcoming Vacancy
The board is expected to appoint a new member at a special meeting on Jan. 31.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock School Board will be filling an upcoming vacancy, as Jerold Grupp announced in late December his plans to resign.
Grupp, who represents Region #5- Northampton Township, Districts #9, #14, and #16, submitted his letter of resignation on Dec. 20. He will officially resign on Jan. 6. Applications are being accepted to fill the pending vacancy. Candidates must live in Council Rock School District Region #5.

Letters of interest and any supporting documentation submitted may be distributed to the public and should not include information the applicant considers confidential, the district said.
