Council Rock School Board Meeting On Redistricting Canceled

NEWTOWN, PA — The snow has caused the cancelation of tonight's Council Rock School Board meeting, officials announced. The meeting was expected to draw many parents, as redistricting was on the agenda.

Details on a rescheduled date for the meeting will be forthcoming.

The following statement was released:

Council Rock School District officials have just learned that the Bucks County Emergency Services storm forecast reporting has shifted upward. Additionally, it has stayed much colder than expected, meaning the change-over to rain will likely not happen until later than originally expected. For this reason, coupled with the fact that our demographer's flight is currently delayed and may well be canceled, tonight's Board Meeting WILL NOT be held. Details about the rescheduling of tonight's meeting and redistricting presentation/public comment opportunity will be forthcoming.
