An asynchronous flexible instructional day is a school day when students do not attend school in person, but instruction continues at home. There are no live online classes on these days.
Students complete learning activities independently, following the directions provided by their teachers. Assignments will be posted on the same platforms teachers normally use, such as Canvas, Google Classroom, or email.

There is no set schedule. Students may complete their work at flexible times during the day, as directed by their teacher. These days count as full instructional days. Student participation is tracked through assignment completion or other teacher-identified methods.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to support students in accessing assignments - especially at the elementary level - and to contact teachers if there are questions or technology concerns.
Flexibility is built in to account for varying home situations. Students are expected to review their teacher's instructions carefully, complete assigned work, and submit it as directed.
