Council Rock Seeking Public's Input on New Superintendent Search

As the Council Rock School District embarks on a search of a new superintendent, it is seeking the public’s input.

The district has posted an online survey to gain public feedback regarding personal attributes that will help determine the candidate who would be the best fit for the district.

The district’s current superintendent, Mark Klein, has announced he will retire at the end of this school year.

Responses to the survey are anonymous and confidential. The survey will close on Nov. 15.

Klein has served as the district’s superintendent since 2004. In 2012, the Council Rock School Board unanimously approved extending his contract through June 2017. Under the terms of his contract, if he leaves the district before that he must provide a minimum of 150 days notice.
