Council Rock Sets Attendance Policy For Eagles Super Bowl Parade
Council Rock officials addressed Thursday's attendance policy in advance of the Eagles' Super Bowl parade.

Student absences for Council Rock students attending Thursday's Eagles Super Bowl parade can be excused provided parents submit the proper information to school, the district said in a message to parents Tuesday.
According to an email from the district, parents of students who will be going to the parade should submit documentation to their child’s school specific to the "educational tours or trips" category in the district's excused absence policy. The 10-day advance notice protocol listed in the guidelines will be waived due to the special occasion.
The district did not want to cause an unnecessary burden for families not planning on attending by closing schools. So while schools are open, "we understand that a percentage of our students will be absent from school on Thursday in order to attend the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Championship Parade with their families," the email from the district said.
