Council Rock South Hosting Traveling Art Exhibits

A public open house will be held on Oct. 20 and will include activities for children, music, and refreshments.

Council Rock South High School is hosting traveling art exhibits next month and a public open house will be held on Oct. 20 to celebrate.

The exhibits, provided by Teacher’s Discovery, will feature the work of the renowned artists Michelangelo, Monet, Salvador Dalí, and Vincent Van Gogh and include the works Ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, The Rue Montorgueil, The Persistence of Memory, Café Terrace at Night and more.

"They represent a celebration of European art, language, culture, and history," school officials said in an event announcement.

The open house, an evening of culture and art, will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Council Rock High School South, 2002 Rock Way in Holland.

The open house is free and the public is invited. It will include activities for children, music, and refreshments. Students from the World Language Honor Societies will serve as tour guides during the event.
