Council Rock Taps Into Make-Up Days Due To November Storm

NEWTOWN, PA — An early-season snowstorm last month has prompted the Council Rock School District to utilize its first make-up day. Council Rock students will now have school on May 21, 2019. It was previously scheduled as an off day due to the Primary Election.

School was closed Nov. 16, following a snowstorm that dropped about five inches across Bucks County. The early-season storm caused a travel nightmare in the region, with hundreds of crashes reported.

If and when additional snow days are utilized, the next make-up days on the Council Rock calendar are in June.
