Council Rock To Tee Up For The Kids At CREF Golf Classic

NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock Education Foundation (CREF) will tee off for the kids at its fifth annual CREF Golf Classic taking place at the Jericho National Golf Club in Upper Makefield.

The event is scheduled for June 24 beginning with a 12 p.m. tee-off with proceeds supporting innovative projects and programs that benefit Council Rock students.

This year’s outing promises to be a memorable experience, featuring a day of golf, engaging on-course games, and networking opportunities with fellow community members. Participants can also look forward to a highly anticipated silent auction, which will offer a variety of items for bidding.

According to organizers, the CREF Golf Classic is more than just a golf outing - it’s an opportunity to make a real impact on the educational opportunities for all students in the Council Rock School District.

Since 2007, CREF has supported nearly 200 innovative learning initiatives, providing students with opportunities such as exploring the depths of the ocean floor through virtual reality, engaging with nature in newly constructed outdoor classrooms, or acquiring early coding skills essential for thriving in a digital world. These initiatives are made possible through the generous philanthropic support from the community.
