The ad-hoc committee was formed to review potential elementary school consolidation, K-12 redistricting and the repurposing of non-school facilities.

The ad-hoc committee will hold a total of five public meetings.

School closures and redistricting are among the elements of Council Rock's capital plan. Officials have said redistricting would impact every school in the Council Rock School District.

The ad hoc Master Capital Planning Committee will assess those topics and make decisions in the form of board votes in the coming months. "Any and all decisions will be geared toward implementation in the 2018-19 school year," the district said in an announcement.
