Council Rock's Master Capital Planning Committee Sets Meeting Schedule

Council Rock's Master Capital Planning Committee will have four more meetings through May 22.

Council Rock's Master Capital Planning Committee has set the dates for four more meetings to be held through May.

The ad-hoc committee was formed to review potential elementary school consolidation, K-12 redistricting and the repurposing of non-school facilities. The first meeting was held Feb. 8. Click here to watch a video of the meeting.

  • Thursday, March 30
  • Monday, April 24
  • Monday, May 22

All meetings will be held at The Chancellor Center and will begin at 7 p.m.

School closures and redistricting are among the elements of Council Rock's capital plan. Officials have said redistricting would impact every school in the Council Rock School District.

The ad hoc Master Capital Planning Committee will assess those topics and make decisions in the form of board votes in the coming months. "Any and all decisions will be geared toward implementation in the 2018-19 school year," the district said in an announcement.
