'Critically Important' Discussion On Council Rock Schools Is Thursday

If you're interesting in learning more about Council Rock's capital planning, mark your calendar for Thursday.

The Council Rock School Board will be discussing capital planning at its meeting Thursday, which starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Chancellor Center. It will also be aired live on CRTV.

No formal votes are scheduled for the meeting but the discussion is "critically important" because the capital planning impacts all Council Rock students, the district said in an email to parents.

Specific points of discussion include:

• Future status of Richboro Middle School
• Timeline of potential elementary school consolidation and K-12 redistricting
• Enrollment balance between North and South

"We want to emphasize that this master capital planning process will impact all 15 of our schools. We will keep you updated and informed as to the timing and scope of key discussions so you may engage in the process as you are able to do so and as you choose to do so," the email said.
