Date Set For Newtown Music In The Park
The popular September event features an evening of free music and family fun at Linton Memorial Park.
NEWTOWN, PA — Plans for Newtown's popular Music in the Park event are taking shape.
The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21 at Linton Memorial Park. It will be an evening of free musical fun, plus there will be activities for kids.
According to organizers, this year's Music in the Park will feature face painting and balloon art, along with three family-friendly bands. Food will be available for purchase from Gabriel's II in Washington's Crossing. Plus, the Kona Ice Truck will be there to sell some sweet treats.

Musical acts include Meg's Melodies, Matt Dorsey Music, and Obscure Identity, according to organizers.
Linton Memorial Park is located at 108 S Lincoln Ave (across from the CVS in Newtown Borough).
