Details Announced For 2023 Newtown Christmas Tree Lighting
The event will take place in the parking lot next to the Newtown Fire Station at Liberty Street and Washington Avenue.

NEWTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Hundreds of community members will gather for the annual Newtown Borough Christmas tree lighting on Friday, December 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. with the tree lighting at approximately 7 p.m.
The tree will be in the Newtown Fire Association’s parking lot, located at the corner of Washington Avenue and Liberty Street.

Sponsored by the Newtown Experience, festivities will include performances by the Goodnoe Elementary School Choir, the Council Rock North Choir and BC Discoveries Dance & Theater Arts Company, a DJ, hot chocolate donated by Starbucks, and cookies donated by the Hardware House.
The tree will be lit by Santa himself after he arrives in style on an antique fire truck.
