Dino Mania Event This Weekend In Newtown

Do you have a young child who loves dinosaurs? Then check out Dino Mania, an event to be held Sunday by Newtown Township parks and Rec.

Participants can expect to learn about the "fiercest, ugliest, and largest reptiles to ever walk the planet" during the afternoon event. Activities include a slide show, hatching fake dinosaur eggs, examining and making fossils, examining animal bones and dinosaur games.

It will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Newtown Township Administration Building. The cost to participate is $33 for residents and $39 for nonresidents.

The event is for children ages 4-11. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
