Greetings from Stuart Country Day School! The search to find a nurturing academic environment for your daughter is an exciting time, and we would be honored to partner with you in this journey.
As the only all-girls private school (grades K-12) in Princeton, New Jersey, Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart is uniquely positioned to provide an environment where girls put academics first, are willing and able to take risks, and explore every opportunity. Our challenging curriculum takes advantage of the way girls learn in the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering and math—as well as the arts, humanities, and athletics.

Why All-Girls?
“Girls’ schools should not be judged by the absence of boys, but rather by the presence – the confidence, strength, and actions – of the girls themselves.”
We know that our all-girls environment is critical to what sets Stuart apart from other schools. Research shows that girls thrive in an environment where they are free to be themselves and encouraged to be bold, confident leaders. The skills that girls gain from an all-girls environment in elementary through high school are carried forward in life. Girls who attend girls’ schools report a higher self-confidence and are more likely to hold leadership positions and pursue advanced degrees.
Why Stuart?
Stuart knows girls, and more importantly, knows each girl well. We prepare young women for lives of exceptional leadership and service through a robust academic program rooted in the five Goals and Criteria of a Sacred Heart education. Our students simultaneously develop a moral compass and foundation that positions them for success not only in their academic and professional careers but also in their personal and spiritual lives.
