Dog Stolen from Bucks Shelter Has Been Found: Police

The dog, named Pumpkin, is safe and will be returned to the Bucks County SPCA, police said.

A bulldog that was stolen Saturday from the Bucks County SPCA shelter in Lahaska has been found, according to Solebury Township Police.

The dog, named Pumpkin, is safe and will be returned to the SPCA, police said. 

The woman police believe stole the dog has been identified; further information will be released later, police said.

“Thanks to everyone who shared our post and helped get her back. Now let’s get this sweet girl into a forever home. Share her photo and I’m sure we can find the right home for her,” the local SPCA said on its Facebook page.

“Pumpkin can be shy at first, but quickly warms up and wiggles with delight for people she knows. She is three years old and needs to be an only pet,” the SPCA said.
